Mid-Century 1959 MAC V (Military Assistance Command, Vietnam) double sided emblem Zippo lighter. Featuring a red and yellow design with a sword symbolizing U.S. aid pushing back aggression against North Vietnam, representing the command's role in coordinating U.S. military efforts and training during the Vietnam war.
This Zippo lighter has a chrome finish with two raised emblems and the bottom Pat. 2517191 code. The insert has the matching patent date code. This lighter has been used and shows a few dings and scratches. The lid is slightly loose but overall in really good condition for the age of this Zippo.
